Submitted by Albert Olson on Wed Jun 22, 2011, 9:33am
Daniel Buccieri, a distinguished history teacher at Mark Twain Middle School, was recently honored with a Teacher of the Year award presented by the Los Angeles Unified School District. He was also awarded the Teacher of the Year award from the Venice Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Buccieri was one of 14 teachers honored this year by the LAUSD, and will now qualify for the L.A. County Teacher of the Year competition.

And during the month of June Mr. Buccieri's teaching methods and students were featured in a nationally televised article on the NBC News. Congratulations to Mr. Buccieri, his students, and Mark Twain Middle School! Click here to link to the video.
