The Board of Directors is the governing body of the Mar Vista Community Council (MVCC). Its members are elected by the stakeholders of Mar Vista every two years. The Officers of the Mar Vista Community Council are elected by the Board once a year. The Officers are the Chair, 1st Vice-Chair, 2nd Vice-Chair, Secretary, and Treasurer. The Board is comprised of fifteen Directors, including the aforementioned five Officers. Of the fifteen Directors, seven are elected as Zone Directors, seven as At-Large Directors, and one as Community Director.
The Board of Directors meets monthly, and may hold Special Board meetings. All meetings are open to the public and where Board decisions and actions take place. Check our Calendar for meeting days/times.
