Other news is that the Department of Neighborhood Empowerment (DONE), which oversees the MVCC, has approved the use of Zoom remote conferencing to hold virtual meetings. The first will be a Board of Directors' Meeting this coming Tuesday, April 14, 2020, at 7pm.
The City Attorney’s Office has issued some guidelines regarding the use of teleconferencing and the Brown Act. You may read the guidelines here.
As always, everyone is invited and encouraged to join and participate in MVCC meetings. The Calendar and Agendas will have information needed to access the meetings. Of course, the Weekly Roundup and our social media will also have the information.
This meeting will be held using remote conferencing by Zoom. Everyone is encouraged to join, listen in, and participate. To do so on a device, you will need to download and install the application. This can be done by visiting Zoom.com

If you decide to use a device to join the meeting, it is recommended that you download the software and become familiar with Zoom before Tuesday's meeting.
Please note that once you join the meeting, all participants will be able to see and hear everything within your device's camera and microphone range.
As in all Board meetings, the public will be able to speak during the Public Comment portion of an Agenda item. Please mute your microphone when not speaking. Also, use the "Raise Hand" feature to be recognized.
