8.1. [DISCUSSION] (Hurdles to sustainability: recent lawsuits and their effects)
Discussion regarding the repeal of the electrification ordinance (in response to the Berkeley case in the 9th Circuit Court) and the repeal and possible re-adoption of the oil phaseout ordinance (in response to AB3233).

8.2. [DISCUSSION] (Sepulveda Transit Corridor) Discussion and updates regarding the recent community meetings on the Sepulveda Transit Corridor project.

8.3. [POLICY] (Amend LAMC 56.15 - No riding e-bicycles on sidewalks) Discussion and possible action regarding the pending WRAC motion on including e-bicycles in the LAMC language about what is allowed on sidewalks.

8.4. [POLICY] (BICYCLE AND MULTI USE PATHS / MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITY / DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC WORKS / LOS ANGELES ADMINISTRATIVE CODE / AMENDMENT) Discussion and possible action regarding Council File 25-0481 (also references Council File 25-0124) on jurisdictional changes to who maintains bike paths not directly owned by the City.

8.5. [DISCUSSION] (2025-2027 T&I Committee) Discussion and recommendations for the incoming T&I committee members.

See what an NPG (Neighborhood Purpose Grant) Can Do

Palms Middle School applied for a Neighborhood Purpose Grant from the Mar Vista Community Council so they could make improvements to their Staff Lounge.

The Staff Lounge is complete with all new furniture and decor, hot beverages galore, a ridiculously fancy Samsung fridge with filtered water, and a foosball table to boot. Everyone is really enjoying the space.

They sent us Before and After photos so we could see what improvements were made. This is a great example of how Neighborhood Purpose Grants can help our Community.
