Regular Meeting Times and Locations

With the passage of SB-411, Mar Vista Community Council committees now have the option of meeting online via Zoom. Assume all meetings are online unless designated otherwise on the calendar, though the TI&S committee does intend to gather in-person once quarterly.

Committee meetings in 2024-2025 are typically held on the first Wednesday of the month. When the committee needs to reschedule for a different date, these meetings will be designated "Special" meetings on the calendar because they deviate from our regular schedule.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Transportation, Infrastructure & Sustainability Committee (TI&S) serves as the policy advisory body to the Mar Vista Community Council on transportation, infrastructure, and sustainability issues that concern and/or impact the Mar Vista community. The committee's goal is to promote community input and involvement on these issues, and to provide input to the MVCC Board regarding:

(a) redress of issues raised by the community regarding traffic, transportation, infrastructure,and sustainability, and

(b) the development of area planning strategies for transportation, infrastructure, and sustainability, in cooperation and coordination with the Los Angeles Department of Transportation (LADOT), other organizations, and stakeholders that will enhance the quality of life for all in the Mar Vista community.
